Private Climbing Lessons

Whether you plan on spending next summer climbing outdoors with friends or would like to start adding the full height of our indoor climbing wall to your workout mix, it's time you learned how to belay. Join our experienced and professional staff in this class as we teach you about the gear involved in roped climbing, how to tie into the rope and how to belay (the act of managing slack in the rope to keep the climber from falling to the ground should they slip). All equipment is included and upon completion of the class, participants are able to return after 24 hours (to assure skills retention) to have their skills assessed for a top-rope pass. No experience is required to participate. Hour lessons can be reserved back-to-back for additional instruction. For more details, please email the outdoor programs team.
