Join a guide on our longer (4 mile) snowshoe adventure that starts at Gold Run trailhead and passes the iconic Jessie Mill on the way to the Overlook at the old Jumbo Mine. Your guide will provide information on the historical structures along the way, as well as the local wildlife that can be encountered on this backcountry tour. Guests will snowshoe through the forest on tree-lined paths, but will also have the opportunity to break trail in open snowfields.
This tour is moderately strenuous and is recommended for adults and children over 12 years of age. Depending on conditions, this tour will generally take between two and two and a half hours.
This tour is offered Sundays and Thursdays at 9:00am, but can be offered on other days upon request if staff is available. Please call (970) 547-7889 to inquire.
